Seattle Opera Preview Presentation

Theodore Deacon presented scenes and music from the Barber of Seville featuring the eponymous Figaro. Residents enjoyed hearing about the canny and clever Figaro and his efforts  to prevent young Rosina's "vulturous" guardian from marrying her. He instead helps her unite with her beau, Count Almaviva. This opera buffo is full of color and action as well as fast (but not furious) music.
